George Amidon
Senior Consultant • Invesco Global Consulting
George is currently working with Invesco Global Consulting delivering keynote presentations and workshops as well as supporting Invesco Sales Development and Education as a key partner, providing and delivering content for our “Momentum” program. George is also a Managing Partner for JAM Consulting Group, Inc., a sales and management consulting firm. He is an integral member of a team of accomplished professionals that has worked to accelerate the performance of sales professionals and management teams for over 30 years.
George brings over three decades of in-the-field experience as both a producer and senior sales executive. We believe his success at building, developing and transforming sales groups into more impactful sales teams is due in part to his ability to listen, understand and see things from a salesperson’s perspective.
George earned a BA in Economics from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He is an avid hockey fan and outdoor enthusiast. His wife, Susie, is an accomplished artist, and their son, Paul, is currently serving in the United States Air Force.
Keith Black Ph.D., CFA, CAIA®, FDP
Managing Director • RIA Channel
Dr. Keith Black has over thirty years of financial market experience, serving approximately half of that time as an academic and half as a trader and consultant to institutional investors. He currently serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
During his most recent role as Managing Director of Content Strategy, Keith was responsible for Curriculum development at the CAIA Association. Previously, Keith was a valued team member at Ennis Knupp + Associates, where he advised foundations, endowments and pension funds on their asset allocation and manager selection strategies in hedge funds, commodities, and managed futures. Other experience includes commodities derivatives trading, stock options research and Cboe floor trading, and building quantitative stock selection models for mutual funds and hedge funds. Dr. Black previously served as an assistant professor and senior lecturer at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Keith has contributed to the CFA Digest, and has published in The Journal of Wealth Management, The Journal of Trading, The Journal of Investing, and The Journal of Alternative Investments, among others. He is the author of the book “Managing a Hedge Fund,” as well as co-author of the second, third, and fourth editions of the CAIA Level I and Level II curriculum. Dr. Black was named to the Institutional Investor magazine’s list of “Rising Stars of Hedge Funds” in 2010.
Dr. Black earned a BA from Whittier College, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, and a PhD from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and was a member of the inaugural class of both CAIA and FDP members.
Rick Bodio, CFA
Managing Director, Private Equity • Ceres Partners
Rick joined Ceres Partners in February of 2023 to help accelerate the build out of the private equity strategy for Ceres. Prior to joining Ceres, Rick spent twelve years at Manulife Investment Management, Agriculture, where he was the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and led the Farmland Plus investment team. In those roles, Rick helped lead global investment strategy for Manulife’s $4B+ agricultural investment platform while also focusing on investing in middle-market companies in the agribusiness space. During his time at Manulife, Rick sat on the board of several investment vehicles and portfolio companies in North America, Latin America and Australia.
Prior to his role as Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Rick had leadership roles in the Client Account Management and Valuation teams at Manulife Ag. Before his time at Manulife, Rick worked at Forest Systems, a small, timber-focused private equity group.
Rick obtained his CFA charter in 2014 and has an MBA from the University of Connecticut. Rick graduated from Providence College where he double majored in English and Philosophy.
Jay Frank
President • Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management
Jay Frank is the President of Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management and Chief Operating Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald Investment Management. Cantor Fitzgerald is a global financial services, investment banking, and asset management firm. Mr. Frank joined Cantor in 2015 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, performs an active role in product construction and strategic initiatives including leading the creation and launch of the first ‘40 Act fund focused on private infrastructure. In addition, Mr. Frank oversees distribution efforts for Cantor Fitzgerald’s private market and traditional product sets. Jay has spent the last 17 years focused on the real assets and alternative investment industries.
Throughout his career, Mr. Frank has been involved in the creation, structuring, launch, capital formation, management, and monetization of dozens of real assets strategies with over $35 billion in aggregate value. He has worked closely with wealth management, accounting, tax and legal firms on the education, due diligence and implementation of sophisticated real assets solutions including Real Estate Investment Trusts, Interval Funds, Business Development Companies, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges and Qualified Opportunity Funds.
Mr. Frank earned a B.A. in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses and is an Investment Banking Representative.
Jay lives with his wife and two daughters in Santa Monica, California. Jay plays an active role in Happy Trails for Kids, a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of foster youth across Los Angeles.
Andrew Howell
Director, Private Equity • Ceres Partners
Andrew Howell focuses on supporting investment research for Ceres Partners and transactions for the Ceres Food & Agriculture Opportunity (FAO) Private Equity Fund. His responsibilities on the FAO fund include deal sourcing, financial modeling, new company evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio company operations.
Before joining Ceres Partners, Andrew worked as the Director of Sales Operations at Granite Telecommunications in Boston. At Granite he worked for the CEO to push forward strategic initiatives, oversaw department efficiencies, and reviewed potential strategic acquisitions.
Andrew graduated with an MBA from Rollins College in 2012 and a BA in Business Management and Marketing from Jacksonville University in 2010.
Andrew Korz
Director, Investment Research • FS Investments
Andrew is a director on the Investment Research team at FS Investments, where he leads research efforts on the equities market and the U.S. commercial real estate market. He also assists in the development of the firm’s long-term views on the economy and the impacts on the investing environment. Andrew holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Villanova University and has prior experience with structuring and pricing interest rate derivatives.
Steven Oblack, CAIA®
Senior Client Portfolio Manager, Executive Director • FS Investments
Steven Oblack is an Executive Director and Senior Client Portfolio Manager at FS Investments who provides guidance and expertise to improve client experiences and outcomes. Mr. Oblack is primarily responsible for educating clients on the firm’s real estate and special situations credit platforms. He also serves as a key resource for the alternative credit, liquid alternatives and cryptocurrency platforms, and is involved in strategic initiatives with the investment management team to best position the firm’s offerings.
Mr. Oblack has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has spent the last 13 years focused on alternative investments. Before joining the firm, he was Director of Business Development at TFS Capital, a quantitative hedge fund manager and pioneer in liquid alternatives. His experience also includes roles at Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He has knowledge across a broad spectrum of alternative investment strategies and structures, and has worked with institutional, intermediary and individual investors.
Mr. Oblack earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and his BA in Economics from Bates College. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® designation.
Michael Underhill
Portfolio Management • Capital Innovations, LLC
Michael D. Underhill began working in the investment industry in 1989. In 2007, he co-founded the Sub-Adviser with his spouse, Susan Dambekaln, as a research-intensive asset management firm that focuses on innovative infrastructure and real assets investment products across private markets and publicly traded securities.
Prior to founding the Sub-Adviser, he held executive positions at Alliance Bernstein, INVESCO, Janus Capital and Federated Investors.
Mr. Underhill started his career at Lehman Brothers as a quantitative analyst utilizing his statistical econometric background to construct financial models.
Michael graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in economics with a curricular emphasis in statistical econometrics. In addition, he has completed post-graduate coursework at Pepperdine University, Stanford Law School and Mercosur’s economic program at the Universidad Del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He is editor of the best-selling “The Handbook of Infrastructure Investing” (Wiley 2010) and a contributing author to the CFA Institute.
